Come celebrate Fall beauty and the changing of nature! With the leaves off the trees, you can see such a different and beautiful side of Hays Nature Preserve. We are throwing a festival just for Fall!
The whole family will have fun at this FREE event. Activities include Birding 101 hikes and pond study with Tennessee Valley Audubon Society, an instrument petting zoo brought to you by Huntsville Symphony Orchestra, fly fishing with Tennessee Valley Fly Fishers, and Alabama Lore storytelling with local author Wil Elrick. Plus there will be leaf press activity, fall crafts and, of course, leaf piles to enjoy! You can also stuff a Sasquatch Scarecrow with all those leaves!
The leaf press activity will be while supplies last.
