|Calling all College Students: Intern this Summer with the City of Huntsville

(Huntsville, AL) - Looking for a summer internship? The City of Huntsville is offering great learning opportunities for motivated college students wanting career experience. We have positions in Animal Services, Business Relations, Communications, Community Development, Engineering, Geographic Information System (GIS), Information Technology Services, Legal, Long-Range Planning, Multicultural Affairs, Natural Resources, and Traffic Engineering.
Applicants must be at least 19 years old and currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, or be a student who has graduated from college no more than six months prior to placement in the Internship Program.
The City of Huntsville 2016 summer intern program runs from June 6 to August 5. The positions are unpaid, and interns work Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., unless otherwise specified by the department. Applications will be accepted online through March 31 via NeoGov at huntsvilleal.gov/HR/employment. Accepted interns will be notified by April 17.
