| Healthy Huntsville Offers Free Fitness Classes on Saturdays in Big Spring Park

(HUNTSVILLE, AL) - Thinking about exercising? Join Mayor Tommy Battle and Healthy Huntsville for a menu of free physical activities for the entire family on Saturday, May 18, for the kickoff of Saturdays in the Park.
Activities start in Big Spring Park with instructors teaching Zumba, yoga, boot camp, tai chi, Piloxing, hula hooping, runner's yoga, Pilates, ballroom dance and TRX. Physical trainers Dallas Terrell and Robert McAdory will also challenge participants with a whole body workout session.
Fitness classes begin at 9 a.m. and end at 1 p.m. Deep Roots of Alabama is also offering a 5K walk/run at 10 a.m.
The Saturdays in the Park kickoff also includes a farmer's market, cooking and gardening demonstrations, and healthy vendor booths. Children's activities feature kid-friendly fitness, a moon bounce, face painting and magic!
Come dressed to participate! Check out all the healthy vendors and giveaways and enjoy a day of healthy food, fun, and fitness in the park.
Healthy Huntsville's free fitness classes will continue each Saturday throughout the month of June in Big Spring Park East. Classes will be held at 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m.
