Huntsville Tennis Center, located in John Hunt Park, opened in May 2005 and features 24 clay courts, all with lights for night play. The center offers lessons for all ages and skill levels beginning with children as young as 4 and. Special programs, clinics, league play and tournament play is also provided.

In addition, Huntsville Recreation Services provides and maintains seventy-five additional tennis courts spread throughout the City to serve the various communities, on a first come-first served basis.
