The City of Huntsville will be closed for all non-essential personnel on Thursday, July 4, in recognition of the Independence Day holiday.

City Services – At a Glance

  • Thursday’s garbage will be collected on Friday, July 5
  • Huntsville Transit will not operate on July 4
  • Municipal Court will be closed on July 4
  • All recreation centers closed on July 4
  • All City of Huntsville splash pads will be open normal operating hours on July 4
  • The Huntsville Aquatics Center will be open 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on July 4

Normal operating hours will resume on Friday, July 5.
