The first 50 dogs or puppies and first 50 cats or kittens adopted from Huntsville Animal Services will be FREE September 20 through September 30. The adoption fee includes the spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations, and a microchip for pet identification. The community is being asked to help by visiting the shelter to save a shelter pet’s life. The city shelter continues to be overcrowded. Shelter staff and volunteers strive to save every life, but without adoptions matching the number of our pet intake, we cannot continue to make this a reality. Visit the shelter during business hours Monday through Saturday, 4950 Triana Boulevard in Huntsville, AL.
