#GoPlayHsv – Parks & Recreation Month News Conference

Please join Mayor Tommy Battle, Parks & Recreation Director Steve Ivey, and Huntsville Parks & Recreation team members for a News Conference on Monday, June 24, to proclaim July as Parks & Recreation month and to issue the 2019 #GoPlayHsv challenge.
The Department of Parks & Recreation will be celebrating their play spaces with a month of challenges encouraging patrons to take photos of themselves, family and friends enjoying different events, parks, playgrounds, sports and recreation activities. In addition, kids and adults will love taking their picture with the traveling #GoPlayHsv photo cut-out designed by local artists Sheena Setayesh and Payton Brown.
