The Hampton Cove Household Hazardous Waste Drop Off and Cleanup Supply Pickup will take place on August 10 from 8am –12pm at Hays Nature Preserve. Please enter the Preserve by turning at the traffic light on Roundbar Drive. Staff will be at the entrance to direct you.
The Solid Waste Disposal Authority of Huntsville and Clean Harbors will be on site collecting household hazardous waste including old paint, computers, televisions, car batteries, used motor oil, pool chemicals, lawn chemicals and household chemicals.
Operation Green Team will be on site providing cleanup supplies, including trash bags, pickup sticks and gloves. Popcorn and water will also be given out while supplies last.
