Alabama is in love with Straight to Ale! RateBeer recently named the Huntsville brewer as its 2019 Best Brewer in the state – the fifth time in six years the brewery has earned this accolade. It is with hometown pride and pleasure that Mayor Tommy Battle is choosing Valentine’s Day to proclaim Friday, Feb. 14, as Straight to Ale Day in the City of Huntsville.
The Mayor will host a recognition ceremony at Straight to Ale this Friday, Feb. 14, at 3:30 p.m., in the Straight to Ale brewery at Campus No. 805, 2610 Clinton Avenue West, Huntsville, 35805. Since RateBeer also awarded STA’s Monkeynaut IPA as the 2019 Best Beer in Alabama, STA will be offering a limited number of free Monkeynaut tastings at the proclamation ceremony.
Straight to Ale has won numerous brewing awards since the company opened in Huntsville in 2009. As one of the City’s first and most successful breweries, STA has enticed other breweries to start-up and locate in Huntsville, creating a Craft Beer Trail tourist attraction.
