Please join Mayor Battle and Operation Green Team at John Hunt Park for the annual Mayor’s Tree Planting Day on Saturday, November 7. Tree planting will take place from 8am to 12pm. Over 350 trees will be planted to expand the tree canopy at the former municipal airport this year.
We need your help to plant trees. No experience is needed.
Seedling trees will be given out to take home to plant, while they last!
Volunteers will also be provided with free litter clean up supplies, popcorn and cotton candy.
Face coverings and social distancing will be required.
