It’s time to celebrate the grand re-opening of the new $22 million Huntsville Aquatic Center. Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle and Parks & Recreation Director Steve Ivey will join a host of swimmers for a ribbon cutting and Open House on Thursday, July 6, at 3:30 p.m., 2213 Drake Avenue. The pools are opening just in time for this weekend’s Rocket City Swim League City Swim Meet.
