City of Huntsville announces Good Friday closures

The City of Huntsville’s municipal offices and Municipal Court will close Friday, March 29, in observance of Good Friday. City offices will reopen Monday, April 1, at 8 a.m. Because garbage collection occurs Monday-Thursday, there is no change to service. Huntsville Transit will operate a normal schedule on Friday for both Orbit fixed-route buses and Access paratransit services. Huntsville Parks & Recreation facilities will be closed Friday but will operate on a normal schedule Saturday. [more]

City of Huntsville municipal offices will be closed Friday, Jan. 19, due to continued travel issues from this week’s winter weather event. Offices were set to reopen at 11 a.m. today, but after reassessing road conditions, the decision was made to close to ensure employees’ safety. All offices will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 22.
