The goal is for Huntsville to create and maintain a healthy environment and thriving economy that is equitable for present and future generations. \nThe committee broke down their assignment into six sustainability sectors: Natural Environment\, Built Environment\, Energy\, Transportation\, Food Security and Environmental Justice.

DESCRIPTION:Enjoy this fun finale to the Mayor’s Walking Challenge as Healthy Huntsville partners with Downtown Huntsville Inc.on the first annual Tinsel Trail Trot!\n\n\n\nThis will be about a one mile run around Big Spring Park in the evening with tree lights leading the way!\n\n\nThe Mayor’s Walking Challenge is to complete 100 miles in 100 days-starting August 23 and ending November 30. Use Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama‘s www.walkingworks.com to track your miles. BCBSAL will award 10 random people that complete the 100 miles in 100 days a Fitbit!
