Mayor Tommy Battle will join Huntsville’s Preservation Planner Katie Stamps and other stakeholders to unveil a historic marker in the historic Edmonton Heights neighborhood on Sunday, Nov. 5, at 2 p.m. at 100 Wilkenson Drive.
In June 2021, the National Park Service listed Edmonton Heights to the National Register of Historic Places. It was the City’s first historically Black residential neighborhood to be listed.
