The City of Huntsville’s municipal offices will be closed for all non-essential personnel in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. national holiday on Monday, January 18. Garbage Collection: Garbage collection will be delayed by one day this week. Public Transit: Orbit and Access Huntsville will not be in service. Animal Services: The shelter on 4950 Triana Boulevard will be closed. Parks & Recreation: All Parks & Recreation facilities will be closed.

The Huntsville City Council will hold a Work Session to review municipal retirement benefits, including Tier I and Tier II, on Thursday, Feb. 4, at 5 p.m. The Work Session agenda will be posted on the City Council AGENDAS webpage.
