Join us for a once‑in‑a‑lifetime celebration as Huntsville honors America’s 250th birthday with an immersive evening of history, music, community pride and a spectacular fireworks finale!

From the moment festivities begin at 4 p.m., downtown transforms into a living timeline of the American story — complete with food trucks, vendors, historic re‑enactments and family‑friendly activities in Big Spring Park.
At 5 p.m., don’t miss the American Eras Parade, beginning at the Huntsville Madison County Veterans Memorial and journeying through downtown with more than 250 years of American history brought to life. Enjoy themed eras from the Revolutionary War and frontier days to the Space Race, disco, 9/11 tributes, early‑2000s nostalgia and a futuristic finale celebrating Huntsville’s innovation.
The celebration continues at 6 p.m. with opening ceremonies and live music by Groove and Jazz McKenzie with her 10‑piece band on the Big Spring Park stage.
Finally, cap off the night at 9 p.m. with a 25‑minute fireworks finale, accompanied by the Huntsville Concert Band — a patriotic display you won’t want to miss.
This celebration is made possible through the incredible work of the Huntsville Salutes America’s 250th Committee and the generous support of our presenting sponsor, Meta.
Mark your calendars, invite your friends, and be part of history as Huntsville celebrates 250 years of the American story!
