Digital flyer with black background and orange, yellow and green music notes promoting the Voices of Hope & Power, a free community choral concert celebrating Black History MonthThe Huntsville Music Office and Huntsville Parks and Recreation invite the community to celebrate Black History Month with “Voices of Hope and Power,” a free community choral concert on Saturday, Feb. 7, at 5 p.m. at Cavalry Hill Community Center.

Now in its second year, the event will bring together powerful vocal performances from Oakwood University’s Dynamic Praise choir as well as choirs from Alabama A&M University, Lee High School and Jemison High School.

Doors open at 5 p.m., with the program beginning at 6 p.m. The concert will be held in the theater at Cavalry Hill Community Center and is free and open to the public.
