Youth ages 8-13 can enjoy participating in Youth Art Month by creating original artwork in a fun and supportive environment at this free Youth Pop-Up Art Class. Staff will be available to guide and mentor young artists. Artists will take their works home. Register today!
March is Women's History Month and to honor women in the community, Parks & Recreation will host the third annual HerPower Walk from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, at John Hunt Park. The free 3-mile walk is open to women, girls and the men who support them.

Start your day with a splash of color at Parks & Recreation’s Color Jam Family Run & Walk on Saturday, July 11, from 9-11 a.m. at John Hunt Park. The free, untimed event for all ages welcomes participants to enjoy a colorful experience as they run, walk and make memories with family and friends.
Children ages 12 and under are invited to enjoy a morning of tie-dying, popsicles and fun on Thursday, July 16, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Brahan Spring Park pavilion. Bring a white T-shirt or similar item to dye. All other supplies provided. Cool off at Everybody Can Play Splash Pad.
