HPD Five Points Community Initiative Meeting

The Huntsville Police South Precinct’s Five Points Community Initiative will have an initial meeting on February 26 at Jackson Way Baptist Church.

The Five Points Community Initiative has several goals that will be discussed at the meeting:

• Address community issues that are important to the citizens living in the 5 Points area.
• Decrease the amount of criminal activity occurring in the area through increased patrols and partnership with the 5 Points Community.
• Enhance the quality of life for the residents and businesses through evaluation, education and enforcement.
• Develop/strengthen the many 5 Points community watch and neighborhood associations to sustain positive gains earned during the community initiative.
