A special note from Council President Devyn Keith:

The nation is talking about COVID-19, and locally, we’re taking precautions to keep everyone healthy. National guidelines suggest something called ‘social distancing’ and encourage us all to keep away from large gatherings. This means we need to shift our plans for our March Town Hall, but we have a very 21st-century plan to accomplish this that I think you’ll like.

A virtual town hall.

You’ll be able to submit questions in advance by e-mailing HSVCityCouncil@HuntsvilleAL.gov or by calling 256-427-5011.

Best of all, our City Council staff has completed our back-by-popular-demand neighborhood update booklet, and we have already published it online so you can review it before our virtual town hall. If you’d like a copy mailed to you or would like to pick up in person, call or e-mail our City Council team (contact info above).

If you have questions on how our community is preparing for COVID-19, we have a resource page on the City’s website with the latest info.

Don’t forget to wash those hands,

Devyn
