Huntsville Fire & Rescue will hold a public meet-and-greet event on Thursday, May 29, from 6-8 p.m. at Fire Station 1, 2110 Clinton Ave., for those interested in applying to be firefighters. Applicants or potential applicants will have the opportunity to talk one-on-one with firefighters and HFR leadership to learn more about the department and the job.
