Enjoy a crisp fall morning on the trails with Huntsville Animal Services and Healthy Huntsville. Join us for a guided walk through Hays Nature Preserve and bring your own dog—or choose to walk one of our shelter dogs.
- Family-friendly and FREE
- All dogs must be leashed
- Groups walking shelter dogs must include one adult (19+)
Paws in the Park encourages families to get outside and enjoy our City’s parks while giving shelter dogs a chance to relax, explore, and meet potential adopters in a calm, natural setting. It also offers a neutral space for families to introduce their pets to a shelter dog and see if a future match might be right.
