Come to Hays Nature Preserve for Play Days at Hays! Every week in June and July, there will be a different fun, free summer activity for kids to participate in!
In the heat of July, who could think of a better week than to focus on water? Your children will have the opportunity to create crafts that have water at the base, such as a beautiful watercolor painting, nature printing, and painting rocks!
Tuesday’s are drop in days! No need to call ahead to reserve your spot. Just show up! Adults are required to stay with their child the entire time.
Activities are geared for 5-12 year olds, but all are welcome. With the help of an adult, a younger child could participate!
For all these events, children should wear old comfortable shoes and play clothes that can get a bit dirty. Bring a bottle of water and put on your preferred insect repellent, especially on the lower legs, it’ll fend off unwanted insect bites. Children must be accompanied by an adult during the sessions.
