Mayor Tommy Battle and Police Chief Mark McMurray will hold a News Conference with local media to talk about traffic safety, the City’s Summer Slowdown campaign, and how Huntsville drivers can reduce their chances of getting into an automobile accident. With City Schools resuming classes on August 5, more drivers will be back on the roads and Chief McMurray will address his new program to ensure student safety in school zones. Director of Engineering Kathy Martin will be on hand to talk about driver safety in construction zones.
