Parks & Recreation offers way to give back this holiday season

Parks & Recreation, in collaboration with Christmas Charities Year Round, is hosting the Cozy Care Holiday Drive from Nov. 3 to Dec. 10. The initiative provides coats and gloves to those in need for cold winter days.
Those wishing to donate should place their clean and wearable coats, hats and gloves in designated boxes conveniently located in the lobby of Huntsville recreation and community centers. All sizes are accepted.
Please refrain from leaving donations at the door or other locations at recreation centers.
“A warm coat or a pair of gloves can make a real difference for someone during the cooler months,” said Director James Gossett. “Parks & Recreation is excited to host this drive for the third year as an opportunity for the community to come together in a shared effort and we hope to receive more donations each year.”
