Pratt Avenue streetscape project to improve safety for pedestrians, motorists
February 23, 2023Pratt Avenue in Huntsville will see significant landscaping and sidewalk upgrades as part of an upcoming streetscape improvement project. City Council authorized Mayor Tommy Battle to enter into an agreement with the Alabama Department of Transportation for the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) project. February 14, 2023The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) has charged London Kortezz Phillips Goodwin, 25, with murder following a shooting incident on Sunday, Feb. 12. HPD officers responded to the 5000 block of Galaxy Way and found Richard McQuarley, 28, with life-threatening injuries. Quarley died at the hospital from his injuries.
