Traffic Safety Checkpoints- Click It Or Ticket

The Huntsville Police Department D.U.I. Task Force will be conducting Traffic Safety Checkpoints beginning Friday night through this weekend. A new 911 call center topped non-residential building permits issued last month. Residential permits and CO’s increased year-over-year. Residential Permits (new construction) in Huntsville city limits: In April, 163 housing units were permitted, 123 single- and 40 multi-family. The top tract for building permits last month was 212 (Greenbrier), where 34 units were permitted, 4 single- and 30 multi-family. Huntsville Police Investigators are requesting the assistance from the public regarding the April 27, 2018 homicide of 53 yr old Diana Patrick. She was found deceased in a home off Johnson Rd in the early morning hours of April 27. HAVOC Parade – Road Closures May 1st

 The Huntsville Havoc Championship Parade will be tomorrow (May 1st) from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  The parade will begin on Monroe St. in front of Propst Arena and circle Big Spring Park, travelling down Williams, turn left on Church St., left on Clinton Ave., then left onto Monroe and end where it started.  Road closures will begin no later than 4:30 pm.
