The City of Huntsville will be closed for all non-essential personnel on Monday, February 18, in recognition of the Presidents' Day holiday. Normal operating hours will resume on Tuesday, February 19. View the holiday garbage pick-up schedule
Explore Goldsmith Schiffman Wildlife Sanctuary with us! All hikes are free. Hikes begin at 4pm and 5pm. February 20 hike meets at the 431 South entrance. Watch for flags on the gravel road south of Hampton Cove Self Storage. All other hikes (March 13, March 27 & April 17) meet at the Taylor Road entrance parking lot where the sign is! Remember binoculars/camera, water & shoes that can get dirty. All ages welcome but strollers not recommended.…
Celebrate Tell A Fairy Tale Day with us on February 26 from 9:30-11:00am at Hays Nature Preserve! FREE for children of all ages with their favorite available adult. Join us on the Terrame Natural Playground for a morning of wonder and enchantment! Enjoy fairy tale readings, a gnome and fairy scavenger hunt and make a magical fairy wand.
