Huntsville Fire & Rescue (HFR) and Huntsville Police Department (HPD) will commemorate the events of Sept. 11, 2001, in a ceremony on Thursday, Sept. 11, at 7:40 a.m., at HFR Station 1/HPD West Precinct, 2110 Clinton Ave. SW.

Huntsville Fire & Rescue will hold a public meet-and-greet event on Thursday, May 29, from 6-8 p.m. at Fire Station 1, 2110 Clinton Ave., for those interested in applying to be firefighters.

In remembrance Sept. 11, 2001, the Huntsville Police Department (HPD), Huntsville Fire and Rescue (HFR), Huntsville Emergency Medical Services, Inc.
