Come to Hays Nature Preserve for Play Days at Hays! Every week in June and July, there will be a different fun, free summer activity for kids to participate in!
There’s so many opportunities to make a special art piece out of natural materials. We will take advantage of this during this week’s pop-up Tuesday. Come and see what we have come up with for natural art pieces (hint: your kids might – probably will – get dirty!)
Tuesday’s are drop in days! No need to call ahead to reserve your spot. Just show up! Adults are required to stay with their child the entire time.
Activities are geared for kindergartners to sixth graders. With the help of an adult, a younger child could participate!
For all these events, children should wear old comfortable shoes and play clothes that can get a bit dirty. Bring a bottle of water and put on your preferred insect repellent, especially on the lower legs, it’ll fend off unwanted insect bites. Children must be accompanied by an adult during the sessions.
