Armed Forces Week Proclamation Signing

Armed Forces Week kicks off today with a host of local activities planned for the community. Please join Mayor Tommy Battle tomorrow – Monday morning at 8 a.m. – for a proclamation ceremony commemorating the significance of our armed forces partners. The event will take place at 8 a.m. in the plaza of the Veteran’s Memorial, 200 Monroe Street. In the event of rain, the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce will send out a media notification moving the ceremony to their auditorium.
