CANCELED: District 4 Town Hall

A note from Council Member Bill Kling regarding the canceled March 16 Town Hall:

Dear Huntsville City Council District 4 residents,

I am sure you are paying close attention to the news surrounding the COVID-19 virus. I want to reassure you that your local leaders and healthcare workers are taking every precaution to keep Huntsville healthy and to prevent the spread of this coronavirus.

The Center for Disease Control is advising social distancing and the avoidance of any unnecessary meetings for the short term. In following this guidance, I have decided to cancel our regularly scheduled town hall on March 16. The health, safety and wellbeing of Huntsville residents is my number one priority, and it’s important we all abide by these national recommendations.

No matter which district you live in, if you have any questions about Huntsville’s response to COVID-19, I encourage you to visit HuntsvilleAL.gov/COVID19 for more information.
