The City of Huntsville’s Urban & Long Range Planning Department will host a public input session related to its Vision Zero Huntsville – Multimodal Safety Action Plan from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, in Community Room 132 at the North Huntsville Public Library, 3011 Sparkman Drive NW.
In a resolution passed in 2022, the City committed to zero roadway fatalities and serious injuries by 2055. City officials are seeking input from citizens on how to improve roadway safety for pedestrians, bicyclists, drivers and those who take public transit. Huntsville Transit will provide free rides to and from the meetings, and all meeting facilities are ADA-accessible.
