District 3 Council Member Jennie Robinson will be at the Bailey Cove Library on Thursday, April 12, 10:30 a.m., to read to a class of preschoolers. Accompanying her will be Huntsville’s three-time state spelling champion, Erin Howard, who will talk to students about the importance of reading and about how her love of libraries helped her become an avid learner.
Dr. Robinson will present one of Erin’s favorite books, “A Wrinkle in Time,” to the library in honor of the Mountain Gap middle schooler’s outstanding achievements. Erin advances to the National Spelling Bee at the end of May.
