Ready for a summer filled with adventure and fun? Huntsville Parks & Recreation will again offer full-day and specialty half-day camps designed to keep kids engaged and excited during summer break.
Registration for summer camps opens online Monday, April 13, at 8 a.m. With the Parks & Recreation’s online registration platform, families can easily sign up for camps, ensuring a smooth and convenient registration process.
Summer camps are available to Huntsville residents and Huntsville City School students entering grades 1-6. Full-day camps will run from June 1 to July 24, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., while themed specialty half-day camps will have varying dates and times.
To make the registration process even easier, parents and guardians are encouraged to create their online accounts in advance. Camp spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis, ensuring each camper’s safety and enjoyment. A $20 registration fee is required for all full-day camps.
“Summer camp provides families with a safe, reliable place for their kids while school is out,” Parks & Recreation Director James Gossett said. “We’re proud to offer affordable programs that keep kids active, engaged and supported all summer long.”
