Come to Hays Nature Preserve for Play Days at Hays! Every week in June and July, there will be a different fun, free summer activity for kids to participate in!
What could this possibly be? Well, come and find out! Our Worm Hotels will mesmerize the little ones as they watch the worms wiggle their way through the layers of dirt in their new freshly constructed hotel. We will provide the worms, worm food (carrot peelings and dead leaves) and soil. Bring an empty clear plastic container (such as a one-liter water bottle) for this. We will have a few just in case you forget.
Thursdays you must call 256-532-5326 to reserve your spot! Adults are required to stay with their child the entire time.
