Mayor Tommy Battle, City of Huntsville Preservationist Katie Stamps, and representatives from the preservation community will hold a News Conference on Tuesday, April 30, at 2 p.m., in front of the former Law Library on East Side Square in Downtown Huntsville.

Mayor Battle will proclaim May as Huntsville Preservation Month and kick off the 2019 “This Place Matters” campaign. The City will announce a month’s worth of events, activities and programs to recognize and celebrate the community’s historic assets.
