Finance Department
The Finance Department is responsible for monitoring the financial performance for City departments, managing the procurement of goods and services for the city, and managing the city’s cash flow from taxes, resources, and debt. Finance further provides the citizens of Huntsville, elected officials, city departments and other parties financial services and financial management information.
Finance also processes, collects and enforces Annual Privilege Licenses ordinances, which includes regular business licenses, beverage licenses, taxi cab licenses, bingo license (does not include contractor permits processed by the Inspection Department)
