Huntsville’s music community invited to Tip Top Cafe for first Quarterly Meetup of 2026

The Huntsville Music Office is hosting its first Quarterly Music Meetup of 2026 on Tuesday, March 24, from 6-8 p.m. at the recently reopened Tip Top Cafe, located at 125 Maple Avenue NW.
The free community event will bring together artists, venue operators, creative professionals, industry stakeholders and music fans for networking, collaboration and updates on the Huntsville Music Office’s initiatives planned for 2026.
“2025 was a record-breaking year for the Huntsville Music Office,” said Huntsville Music Officer Matt Mandrella. “In 2026, we’re focused on refining and expanding the programs and events that have helped strengthen Huntsville’s music ecosystem including initiatives like our Music Ambassador Program and the 805 After Five concert series.”
The meetup will also offer attendees a chance to experience the newly revived Tip Top Cafe. After more than two decades of silence, the historic venue reopened in late 2025 following extensive renovations. Long known as a gathering place for generations of local musicians and touring acts, Tip Top’s return adds another meaningful chapter to Huntsville’s evolving music story.
“If you haven’t been to the Tip Top yet, this is a great opportunity to see how the owners have modernized the space while staying true to the venue’s roots and the nostalgia that longtime fans remember,” Mandrella said.
Community members are encouraged to attend, connect with fellow music advocates and contribute to the ongoing conversation shaping Huntsville’s growing music scene.
Refreshments will be available for purchase, and admission to the meetup is free.
