Office of the Mayor
The Mayor provides professional leadership in the administration and implementation of all City operations. As the City’s Chief Executive Officer, he oversees the policies, goals and vision set forth by the Office of the Mayor and City Council.
The Mayor appoints all City department heads, enforces ordinances, resolutions and orders, and proposes the annual budget. The Mayor approves the financing of all operations and executes and administers contracts on behalf of the City.
Administrative staff for the Mayor’s office includes the City Administrator, Director of Communication, Business Relations Officer and Multicultural Affairs Officer.
