HPD DUI Task Force to honor lives lost during year-end holiday checkpoint

City of Huntsville offices to close for Christmas holiday

City of Huntsville municipal offices will close Thursday, Dec. 25, and Friday, Dec. 26, for the Christmas holiday. This includes Animal Services, Parks & Recreation facilities and Municipal Court. Security guard injured in University Drive shooting; pursuit leads to arrests

The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) is investigating a late-night shooting in the 6500 block of University Drive that left a security guard injured and led to a multi-agency vehicle pursuit and arrests. Rocket City Marathon to bring road closures and delays to Huntsville
