ALDOT: Lane closures for median work on South Memorial Parkway

UPDATE: This lane closure has been canceled due to rain. Weather permitting, they will do the work tomorrow (Tuesday, July 17) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Only the inside lane of the northbound service road between Byrd Spring Road and Golf Road will be closed.

Please expect delays and plan accordingly.

The Alabama Department of Transportation advises motorists that the inside lanes of the northbound and southbound South Memorial Parkway (U.S. 231/Alabama 53) service roads will be closed between Byrd Spring Road and Golf Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 16 for median barrier work.
