ALDOT to Temporarily Close Ramp on Airport Road Feb. 26 & 27

The Alabama Department of Transportation advises motorists that the ramp from southbound South Memorial Parkway (U.S. 231/Alabama 53) to the southbound service road north of Airport Road will be closed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26, and Tuesday, Feb. 27 for installation of a channelizing curb to improve safety. The inside lane of the southbound service road will also be closed.

Expect delays and plan to use alternate routes to Airport Road from Memorial Parkway southbound.
