ALDOT: U.S. 231 lanes to close for paving

The Alabama Department of Transportation advises motorists to expect intermittent closures of the inside lanes of the South Memorial Parkway (U.S. 231/Alabama 53) service roads between Byrd Spring Road and Golf Drive on Tuesday, July 24, for milling and paving operations.

The northbound inside lane will be closed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. The southbound inside lane will be closed between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Please expect delays and plan accordingly.
