Street closures to impact downtown Huntsville access from I-565

Weather permitting, Washington and Jefferson streets near Huntsville Madison County Veterans Memorial Park will temporarily close Monday, May 15, to accommodate a project at the park. Washington Street will close from 8-11 a.m., while Jefferson Street will close from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. These projects will also require a temporary closure of the Interstate 565 ramps toward downtown (see attached map).

Huntsville Police will assist with traffic control. Drivers should use Church Street via Pratt Avenue to access downtown during this time.
