Temporary closures planned for Monroe Street

Weather permitting, the northbound lane of Monroe Street between Clinton Avenue and Williams Avenue will close to traffic from 8 a.m. Monday, Oct. 9, through 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13. The intersection of Clinton Avenue and Monroe Street will also close from 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, through 6 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11. Crews will be performing utility improvements in the area.

Motorists should use Heart of Huntsville Drive as a detour.
