Temporary Road Closure on Clinton Avenue – between Jefferson Street and Washington Street

Beginning Monday, October 3 through Saturday, October 15, contractors will close Clinton Avenue, between Jefferson Street and Washington Street, in front of the City’s Clinton Avenue Public Parking Garage. The closure is anticipated to start Monday at 9 a.m. to allow construction work on the facade of the parking garage. (see attached map)

A detour route will direct motorists to Jefferson Street, Eustis Avenue and Washington Street during this time. No thru traffic will be allowed eastbound through Clinton Avenue. We do not anticipate disruption to the westbound lanes of Clinton Avenue.

The entrance to the Clinton Avenue Parking Garage will remain open during this construction and there will be no disruption to the operation of the parking deck.

Motorists are encouraged to take alternate routes if possible. Please use caution within the area.
