Resolute Way Interchange

SUMMARY
A new interchange on I-565 at Exit 13 (Madison Boulevard) to provide alternate access to Redstone Arsenal and Madison Boulevard to help mitigate congestion at State Route 255 (Research Park Boulevard) and I-565.
STATUS
A corridor study is now underway. Environmental Document has been completed. Funding has been allocated for design of Phase 1 to begin. Phase 1 consists of improvements on the south side of Interstate 565 with a direct connection from Madison Boulevard to Redstone Gateway. This will also lengthen the weaving distance between Research Park Boulevard (SR 255) and Madison Boulevard along Interstate 565. Redstone Arsenal will be providing the land needed to construct the improvements. We anticipate construction to begin in late 2027.
