City options 516 acres for future industrial development

The Huntsville City Council approved a real estate agreement giving the City the option to purchase about 516 acres along U.S. 72 East for potential commercial and industrial development. The property is located adjacent to the Vulcan Materials quarry and is owned by Grassy Pond LP and Huntsville Center Inc.
