Join us for a Bluebird Hike at Hays Nature Preserve from 8:30-9:30AM, followed by Heron Observation at Goldsmith-Schiffman Wildlife Sanctuary from 10:00-11:00am.
Explore and find out why it’s a significant time of year for bluebirds and herons!
Meet at the Education Building at Hays Nature Preserve at 8:30AM for a walk on the Bluebird Trail around Bar Lake. The first 30 families will take home a kit to make their own wine cork bird house!
Then caravan from Hays or meet us at Goldsmith-Schiffman Wildlife Sanctuary at the Highway 431 entrance just past Hampton Cove Self Storage.
We will hike a short distance and sit to observe the Heron activity. You may bring a chair if you would like one.
Don’t forget binoculars/camera, water & shoes that can get dirty.
All ages welcome but strollers not recommended.
